Things I love
Faith came to us when she was only 4 months old – and bless her heart it was a hectic time at our barn. We were recovering from major storm damage to our barn. Also, she wasn’t the only newbie in the barn, having acquired another tiny mini and his mother along with two Great Pyrenees pups all on the same weekend! Faith quickly settled in and became the bigger sister. She loves the Himalayan salt lick a lot; it seems to be her candy. Faith is a talker when she wants attention, especially getting our attention when traveling in the van or making her entrance into a crowd of children!
We are anxious to see how Faith changes, as that is one of the characteristics of her breed. She is an appaloosa but she is on the dark side so her spots don’t show up as much. She is getting a lot whiter in her coat, what they term as varnishing. Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get when she gets a haircut each spring. Faith will join her sister, Hope, in the Just Say Whoa To Bullying program. She tested at a year old in 2018 with Pet Partners and gained her complex rating to join the others on the team.
